Emily was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and has lived in Bend, Oregon for about nine years. She earned her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Oregon. Emily received her Master’s in Counseling from Oregon State University – Cascades.
Emily has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds through local group practices and the OSU-Cascades Counseling Clinic. She is a Professional Counselor Associate through the Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.
Emily believes counseling is a collaborative journey built on warmth, compassion, and deep
respect for every part of a client’s experience. Her approach blends trauma-informed Internal
Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, CBT, and ACT. She focuses on empowerment, parts work, and
inner-child healing, helping clients reconnect with their authentic selves. Balancing support with
gentle challenge, she brings realness, humor, and a strong belief in each person’s innate ability to
heal. Emily is LGBTQIA+ affirming and takes a multicultural approach to honor clients' lived
experiences. Through exploring identity, personal history, and the wisdom clients already carry,
she walks alongside them toward meaningful growth and transformation.
Outside of counseling, Emily loves astrology, video games, making art, and getting lost in a good
book. She finds joy in thrifting, collecting cool rocks, tending to her plants, and spending quality
time with her favorite people. She’s always up for a creative project, a potluck with friends, or
diving into something new just for the fun of it.
