Aaron Bigaouette

Aaron Bigaouette

Originally from Minnesota, Aaron has called Central Oregon home for the past five years. He first earned an undergraduate degree in engineering before following his passion for counseling. Aaron believes therapy should feel like an authentic conversation where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. He strives to create  a warm, welcoming environment where clients can show up exactly as they are, without feeling pressure to have everything figured out. He believes each person already has the capacity for growth, and that the therapeutic relationship provides a space to reconnect with that inner wisdom, explore life's challenges, and move toward meaningful change  together.

His approach is collaborative, curious, and grounded in authenticity. Aaron primarily draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while  incorporating elements of existential therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, identity development, or simply feeling stuck, his goal is to help you better understand yourself, build practical skills, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are and who you want to become.

Outside the therapy office, Aaron enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with his two high-energy dogs, hiking, discovering new places, cooking, spending time with family, and sharing good meals with friends. He believes some of life's most meaningful moments are found in genuine connection, curiosity, and the simple experiences that help us feel grounded.
