Chelsi graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences in 2013. She then earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2022.
Chelsi became a Marriage and Family Therapist because she believes families and relationships of all structures are valid and able to bring joy and fulfillment to the individuals involved. Chelsi's goal as a therapist is to work with clients to discover and utilize the unique strengths of their family and use them to come closer to their ideal dynamic. Chelsi draws primarily from narrative, solution-focused, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
As someone who has also served sex and gender minority communities for over a decade, Chelsi has a passion for this population in particular. This includes the LGBTQ+, polyamorous, kink, and sex worker communities. She served as a board member for the Human Dignity Coalition for several years, often playing a role in organizing events such as Central Oregon Pride. Chelsi is also in the process of completing her AASECT certification to better serve these communities.
