Shelia is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Associate (CSWA) with the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers working toward her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Shelia holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox (2007) and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Portland State University (2017). Shelia is an experienced Mental Health Therapist with strong therapeutic skills who has 9 years of clinical experience working in collaborative settings providing mental health and coordinated care for children, individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Shelia specializes in treating children, individuals, couples, and families with trauma, disrupted
attachments, conflicted relationships, behavioral concerns, parenting challenges and a range of mental health and personality disorders. Shelia is dedicated to helping others find balance, hope, and self- empowerment as everyday stressors, trauma, and chronic illness continues to mentally and physically impact children, individuals and families. Shelia promotes healthy living, equitable and inclusive practices and accessible services and treatment for all people.
In her personal life, Shelia enjoys spending time cooking, canning, and fishing with her husband of 25 years. Shelia is usually surrounded by her large family that is made up of 3 sons, nieces, nephews, and her 15 grandchildren during weekends and holidays.
